about
A few weeks ago, at an annual music gathering in Alpharetta, GA, Wood Allen played his song, After Rain. I loved the words and music. Wood sent me his lead sheet and a recording of the song he made many years sgo. The recording was done in a simple guitar arrangement and is very touching.
I studied the lyrics and chords and eventually I "heard" the song as a slow jazz ballad with a swing feel. I shared my recording with Wood today and he likes it, Enough, in fact, that he said I was free to share it. So I am.
Thanks again, Wood.
